Each week adults gather every Sunday morning at 9:30am for approximately one hour to study the truths of Scripture and to pray for one another in an intimate setting. This hour seeks to compliment our pulpit ministry through studies in God's Word that will produce an "applied theology" in the lives of our people. We strive hard to provide ample opportunity to grow in "grace and knowledge", from our Sunday School Bible study hour, to our Sunday evening Bible Study classes structured to explore crucial doctrine and lifestyle issues related to Christian living.

Each Sunday night, while our children are being ministerd to in AWANA Club, adults meet for a verse-by-verse study of a book of the Bible. These studies are a wonderful time of digging deep into Scripture and mining out the the riches. With open dialogue and thought-provoking questions, it is always an eye-opening and heart-searching time together in God's Word.

We offer believers the opportunity to enter into a mentoring relationship with a more spiritually mature believer who will come along side them and lovingly share with them important truths from Scripture and insights about life – things they've learned on their journey. This is not merely another class of lectures, but a 16-week process that is life-on-life, one-on-one, heart-to-heart, all with the aim of helping you advance on your spiritual journey toward becoming more mature in Christ. You'll never be the same – we promise.

Here at Grace Church, we take the Great Commission seriously – all of it. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20). After a person believes on Christ, the next step is to begin to grow spiritually.

Unfortunately, many believers never get going on the journey – the journey to maturity. At Grace, we make discipleship a priority. We are committed to coming along side of you and helping you in your journey to greater Christ-like maturity. That means teaching believers more of God's Word and God's ways. It's what He's commanded us to do in the Great Commission.

Growing in maturity doesn't happen overnight. It's not an event, it's a process. A process that Jesus Himself used with the 12 disciples, which made them the kind of men who "turned the world upside down." (Acts 17:6) Christ made that kind of impact on the disciples through having a mentoring relationship with them. And that's the approach we take here at Grace.

Men's Ministry

The Men's Discipleship Group is currently meeting bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. This is a 2-year group study of systematic theology coupled with both group and one-on-one accountability. Emphasis is on increasing men's grasp of biblical doctrine and on mastering spiritual disciplines.

Throughout the year, the men go on occasional "get-a-ways" to hike, raft, fish, or whatever else sounds fun. Costs are kept to a minimum, and any man interested is welcome to join in on the action. These get-a-ways are aimed at building relationships that lead to both solid Christian fellowship and to new evangelistic opportunities with unbelievers that we get to know better on these trips.

Many other events are planned throughout the year and are announced in the Sunday bulletin.

Women's Ministry

A women’s Bible study is held bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm. Bible studies cover books of the Bible or relevant and challenging books on biblical doctrine and/or spiritural disciplines in an informal, interactive fellowship. The aim of these studies is to promote solid Christian maturity and living in the lives of wives and mothers. These studies are regulary known for being a rich time of spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and intimate prayer.

Many other events are planned throughout the year and are announced in the Sunday bulletin.
